I have always been a keen photographer, but when I joined my local photography club in 2022, I finally learned how to use my camera properly and started to be able to create the sort of images that were in my head.

I still have a lot to learn, but love experimenting in all genres of photography, my passions being theatre work and live events.

My Story
As a passionate photographer, I strive to create the images I have in my head, into a photograph. Sometimes this will be possible straight out of camera and sometimes my vision needs a little more artistry.
Still learning my craft, I love to experiment, seek inspiration from others, recreate, whilst giving my own take on things. Sometimes this works well and sometimes it doesn't. That is all the fun of the process
On this site I will share my journey, my triumphs, my challenges and possibly the disasters too. I hope it will inspire other 50 somethings to finally give that hobby a go. It's not too late to learn
